  • Jack’s Restaurant: Open daily at the Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina.

  • Junkanoo: The popular restaurant, now known as Junkanoo Below Deck, has reopened at its new location, 4761 Estero Boulevard.

  • La Ola Surfside Restaurant: Enjoy wraps, burritos, and more at this food truck! Find them at Times Square on Fort Myers Beach.

  • BEACHES: The City of Sanibel is happy to announce that it has opened its beaches to the public. See the press release for access and parking locations.

  • Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum: The museum is currently open for limited hours: Tuesday – Friday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Blue Giraffe: The popular restaurant operates a food truck, open Monday – Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a limited menu.

  • Cielo: Get farm-to-table cuisine Tuesday – Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and 4 – 7 p.m., with a limited menu.

  • CROW (Gift Shop): The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife’s gift shop is open Monday through Friday, 10 am – 2 pm. The clinic and education center are still under construction.

  • Flip Side Charter: Let Captain Jenni lead you on an eco/adventure tour on the water you won’t soon forget.

  • Gramma Dot’s: Visit the Gramma Dot’s food truck outside of their restaurant at Sanibel Marina. Open Monday – Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • The Green Flash Restaurant: Now open for lunch, serving favorites like meatball grinders, sausage & onions, and more.

  • Huxters Market & Deli: Huxters is back as a food truck, open Mon – Fri, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., serving sandwiches, chips, drinks, and salads.

  • Island Pizza Company: The fun family pizza place is open Sunday – Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Jerry’s Foods: This neighborhood favorite is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The deli and Coquina Coffee are open 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.

  • MudBugs Cajun Kitchen: The popular Cajun restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Live music starts at 3 p.m.

  • Nanny’s of Sanibel: The high-end children’s boutique is open Monday to Friday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • New Wave Eco Charters: Offering limited charters temporarily departing from Captiva Island. Reservations can be made 1-2 weeks in advance.

  • Rachel Pierce Art Gallery: The local artist displays her art and hosts an Island Market Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. -2 p.m.

  • Rebel Gas & Convenience Store: Get gas and shop at the convenience store daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Sanctuary Golf Club: A private club, it has opened to serve food to its members. Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., for your banking needs.

  • Sanibel Deli & Coffee Factory: The deli is open Monday – Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed Sunday.

  • Sanibel Grill: The grill is open daily, from 4 to 8 p.m. (opens Noon on Sundays), with a limited food menu but a full bar and NFL Sunday Ticket. 

  • Sanibel Island Farmers Market: The popular Farmers Market will be held temporarily in the Jerry’s Foods parking lot (1700 Periwinkle Way). Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Sanibel Spirits: Wide selection of domestic and imported wines, spirits, mixers, and craft beers. Lottery and Powerball, too!

  • SCCF Garden Center: The native plant garden center is open Tuesday – Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Sea Oats Day Spa: Specializing in relaxation, Sea Oats has body waxing, massage, facials, hair care, manicure, and pedicures.

  • The Shack of Sanibel: A favorite spot for frozen custard, The Shack is open on varying days and times, so visit their page for the daily schedule.

  • Beach Stuff: This shop typically rents water sports equipment but is currently open to those with island access who are in need of gear for recovery efforts.

  • Captain Brian on the Water: Captain Brian is currently providing guided tours of Cabbage Key and other islands.

  • Captiva Cruises: Offering a variety of sightseeing and educational cruises as well as excursions to local areas.

  • Captiva Island Pizza: Get pizza and key lime pie in the heart of Captiva Island on Andy Rosse Lane.

  • Captiva Yacht Club: A private club, it has opened to serve food to its members.

  • The Island Store: A favorite general store in the heart of Captiva Island on Andy Rosse Lane.

  • Mainstay North Captiva Restaurant & Bar: This popular restaurant and bar is open for business and offers discounts for island recovery workers on Wednesdays!

  • The Mucky Duck: The Captiva Island staple is back serving pub food right on the beach. Currently, they are only able to accept cash payments.

  • Old Captiva House: This National Registry of Historic Places landmark is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a limited menu.

  • The Spa at Tween Waters Inn: The Spa is now open with limited hours – reservations are required.

  • Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa: The historic resort is open to the public. Some amenities may be limited.

  • YOLO Watersports: The place to fulfill your watersports needs is open for regular hours.
